History of Phosphene
Phosphene was founded in 2000 by Ed Phillips, an active Open Source and free software developer, as a consultancy and research enterprise. Mr. Phillips was evangelizing for and adopting Open Source languages, tools, and frameworks at the companies at which he was employed. Phosphene immediately began delivering value to its customers and Phosphene quickly evolved into a trusted resource for a number of startups and larger institutions.
Phosphene has continued to evangelize, theorize, and develop custom networks and applications. Phosphene has also honed and polished sets of best practices, best of breed tools, conventions, and agile methodologies.
